NovelCon

Readers of the Valley presents NovelCon — a premier author and bookish vendor event hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Paradise Valley–Scottsdale Resort.

At its heart, NovelCon is an extension of the Readers of the Valley mission: to foster genuine community, amplify indie and local voices, and create welcoming spaces where book lovers can connect through shared stories. We believe literature thrives when readers, authors, and small businesses come together in meaningful ways.

NovelCon is an intimate, thoughtfully curated gathering that prioritizes atmosphere over spectacle—warm, inviting, and connection-driven. The event centers on supporting local and independent authors, bookish creators, and small businesses, encouraging real conversations, discovery, and collaboration.

Whether you’re meeting a new favorite author, supporting a local vendor, or connecting with fellow readers, NovelCon is about belonging, creativity, and celebrating the literary community we’re building together.

BooksGiving

Readers of the Valley invites you to join us for Booksgiving, a special author signing event dedicated to celebrating what we’re most thankful for — community, connection, and books.

As the season of gratitude settles in, Booksgiving brings together readers, authors, and bookish vendors for a heartfelt gathering centered on the stories that bring us together. This event is about more than signed pages — it’s about shared conversations, new friendships, supporting local creatives, and honoring the literary community we’ve built side by side.

Come meet your next favorite author, reconnect with familiar faces, discover thoughtful bookish goods, and spend the day surrounded by people who understand the magic of a good story.

This November, we’re giving thanks the best way we know how — together, with books in hand!
